Fluoroscopy

Like an x-ray movie, fluoroscopy is a study done by passing a continuous x-ray (versus a static view in a traditional x-ray) through tissues and other deep structures of the body. The moving image is transmitted to a monitor that the radiologist can study in detail. Stills of the movement are captured for review by a radiologist.
